This was a short film produced for the Society for the Physically Disabled (SPD), for a short film competition. Seamus Phan was the director, writer and did the post-production (FCPX). Bryan Koh was the DP for this pro-bono project.
Synopsis: The Society for the Physically Disabled (SPD) is a non-profit that believes in holistic rehabilitation. It has a dedicated team of professionals who, through partnership with people with disabilities, bring warmth to their rehabilitation journey. This short film brings “A.B.L.E.” out of “disabled”, where it stands for the 4 pillars of empowerment SPD supports: “Active”, “Brave”, “Learning”, and “Endeavoring”, so that people with disabilities helped can scale the summit of their own lives with grit, strength and joy.
